About the Andreasen Holistic Healing Centre
The Andreasen Holistic Healing Centre is a drop in centre in Cambridge run by volunteer healers and therapists who provide complementary healing therapies as a community service for those in need. We create a caring, relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The centre has been running for over 30 years. The Andreasen Centre was founded by Vernon Robinson and his late wife Perdita.
Benefits of healing therapies
All these practices can:
- Ease symptoms of disease
- Ease pain
- Speed up healing
- Relieve stress and promotes relaxation
- Increase energy
- Promote well-being and help you feel positive about life.
We can help with any health condition, whether it's a small problem or a serious illness.
Holistic approach
The holistic approach to health, as practised at the centre, emphasises enhancing the quality of life, whatever the condition. This approach is complementary to medical care.
By treating the person as an individual, not just the symptoms - healing is encouraged, which affects not only the physical, but also the mental, emotional and spiritual needs as well. This is brought about by gentle, natural techniques.
Relaxation and guided meditation/visualisation
We start the afternoon with a short relaxation and guided mediation/visualisation which you are invited to join in with.
New visitors
We are very informal and you are welcome to come and see what we do, discuss your needs and have a cup of tea. You can decide if you would like a treatment.
